Yulin city walk & Massage Experience

We'll meet in Yulin at midday to start the walk. Yulin is a 1980s housing estate that became Chengdu's most interesting neighbourhood without ever being knocked down — six-storey blocks, plane trees, and independent cafés, bars and bookshops on every ground floor.

First, lunch at Huangchengba Beef. Don't miss your chance to try the beef dishes this place is known for, cooked the way Chengdu has cooked beef for generations.

Then we'll walk the neighbourhood, stopping at two cafés along the way. Chengdu has built a serious coffee scene over the past ten years, and Yulin is where much of it happens. You'll try a coffee at each stop, and your guide will tell you what the roasters here are doing differently.

To finish, we'll go to a massage studio for a full-body massage. Trained therapists, private rooms, and you set the pressure yourself. This is how people in Chengdu end an afternoon, and after three hours of walking you'll understand why.

Then, after approximately 4 hours, the tour will come to an end. If you want to stay in the neighbourhood afterwards, your guide can point you towards the bars that open in the evening.
