Wenshu Monastery ＆ Tea tasting
Wenshu Monastery is the counterweight: a working Chan Buddhist Monastery downtown,with monks in residence,incense over the courtyards,and a teahouse in the outer garden where a bowl of tea buys you the afternoon.The vegetarian canteen is excellent and absurdly cheap.Step over the wooden thresholds, not on them,and don't photograph monks during services.
