Flexibility is key for your travel convenience. If you take a taxi or rideshare directly from your hotel, your guide will meet you right at the South Gate of the Panda Base. Prefer taking the subway? No problem! Take Metro Line 3 to Panda Avenue Station (Exit D), where your guide will meet you and whisk you away on the themed Panda Shuttle Bus (yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds!).
The complete tour runs approximately 3 hours with around 2–3 km of relaxed walking. Once assembled, we will embark on our carefully curated, optimized panda-spotting route—no backtracking and no missed highlights! You will witness the full spectrum of panda life: majestic adult pandas lounging or feeding, adorable panda cubs rolling around, and the charming red pandas climbing tree branches.

Meet your friendly guide at the South Gate of Chengdu Panda Base, or at Exit D of Panda Avenue Station (Metro Line 3) with a quick scenic ride on the Panda Shuttle Bus to the entrance.

Skip the ticket lines and enter smoothly. Walk along shaded bamboo pathways to visit juvenile and adult giant panda villas. Watch them munch on fresh bamboo, play, and climb trees.

Panda Nursery & Red Panda Area
Head over to the panda nursery/delivery houses to see adorable young cubs, followed by a visit to the open-air Red Panda enclosures to spot these curious, bushy-tailed acrobats.
